The 5815XL is a signaling line circuit (SLC) expander for use with the 5820XL, 5820XL-EVS, 6820 or 6820EVS addressable fire alarm control panel (FACP). Use the 5815XL to add more Hochiki ® SD SLC devices of the same protocol to the control panel. All functionality of the built-in SLC is provided with the 5815XL. Three 5815XL’s can be added to an 5820XL or 5820XL EVS Intelli Knight system for a total of 396 SK detectors and 396 SK modules or 508 SD addressable devices per system.
