The Genesis WG4 Series speakers and speaker-strobe devices stand out as some of the most adaptable emergency appliances available. Designed for both indoor and outdoor environments, they can withstand a variety of wet and harsh conditions, with an operational temperature range spanning from -31°F to 151°F (-35°C to 66°C). Their field-configurable sound and light output settings enhance their versatility on-site, while optional FIRE or ALERT markings and colored lenses make them well-suited for emergency communication/mass notification (ECS/MNS) or fire alarm systems. These devices are perfect for challenging settings, such as parking garages and industrial areas, and can be mounted on ceilings or walls. Thanks to a clever full backplane sealing gasket, they can also be installed in recessed electrical boxes (in-the-pour/block). WG4 signals can be affixed to appropriate surface boxes connected by raceways. Optional color-matched trim skirts lend a polished, finished look. All wiring for the appliances is done from the room side, simplifying installation. The WG4 Series features highly intelligible and efficient mylar-cone loudspeakers, which operate at dual voltages (25.2V or 70.7V) and offer field-selectable output taps ranging from 80.8 dBA to 90.0 dBA. The multi-candela strobes come with either clear or amber lenses and are available in two output categories: standard and high-output. They are precisely timed to comply with UL 1971 synchronization standards and can be configured in the field for one of four candela intensities. Wattage and candela settings remain visible even after installation, thanks to an innovative sealed viewport display.
