The Edwards 7005-G5 Hotel Room Annunciator is specifically designed for hotel rooms and similar spaces intended for individuals with hearing, visual, or mobility challenges. This kit includes a 6536-G5 horn/strobe for both auditory and visual alerts, a 620 push button, a 147-10 mounting plate, and a 592 transformer. Additionally, each component can be purchased separately.
The 6536-G5 Horn/Strobe is intended for installation in a single gang box measuring 2 inches (51 mm) by 4 inches (102 mm), typically positioned above doorways. Each device features an audible horn that produces a sound pressure level of 82 dBA at a distance of 10 feet, along with a high-intensity strobe light.
The Edwards 592 transformer serves to energize the horn/strobe. It features a grounding wire and is compatible with installation in both plastic and metal enclosures. The 620 push button station enables call activation when mounted on the 147-10 plate, which boasts a stainless steel front. The switch operates momentarily.
