The RM-1000ECS remote microphone enables the operator to initiate paging and activate ECS messages to selected speaker circuits from a distant location. This remote microphone features an SB-8 voice user interface, which includes 8 programmable soft keys. It is housed in a durable sheet metal enclosure and comes with an integrated microphone. As a PLink device, the RM-1000ECS communicates with the control panel through a 4-wire RS-485 connection and transmits paging audio via the V-Link 1 and V-Link 2 audio risers. Up to 30 RM-1000ECS units can be linked to a voice system. Additionally, the remote microphone offers LED indicators for Power and Ready to Page status.
