The CPG Signals Model ASHX PowerTone® Explosion Proof Amplified Speaker is engineered for hazardous environments, delivering a sharp, high-decibel sound. This tone can be produced either by a voice input or a tone-generating system, utilizing a compact, solid-state plug-in card. Both the speaker cone and projector are constructed from spun aluminum, while the circuitry, speaker driver, and tone card are securely housed within an explosion-proof enclosure. An internal gain control enables easy volume adjustment. Rated for both indoor and outdoor applications, the amplified speaker meets NEMA 3 standards and features a durable red enamel finish. The ASHX model operates on 24 VDC and is polarized for integration with system-supervised alarm notification circuits. Designed for surface mounting, the speaker is weatherproof and resistant to corrosion.
