Siemens has launched the SL2-series of weather-resistant notification devices, expanding its product range with horns, strobes, and horn-strobe units. These devices boast NEMA 3R and 4X certifications, ensuring dependable performance in both indoor and outdoor environments. Designed to operate in extreme temperatures from -40°C to 66°C (-40°F to 150°F), the SL2-series is fully compatible with Siemens fire alarm control panels (FACPs), dual-sync control (DSC) modules, and power supplies (PAD-3, PAD-4, and PAD-5). The strobe and horn-strobe variants function on regulated 24V DC or full-wave rectified (FWR) input, while the horns can utilize either 12V or 24V DC/FWR regulated power. Furthermore, the strobe elements adhere to the 20-millisecond light pulse duration requirement outlined in the 2016 edition of NFPA 72.
