Kidde Commercial R-Series Annunciators are advanced remote annunciators designed to display system status and provide common controls for compatible fire alarm control panels, such as the EVOLVE-ML. This annunciator series offers both LCD and LED display options, with models available either with or without common control functions. The R-Series includes three main annunciator models, as well as an LED-based expander module. Each annunciator can support up to two expanders, which add 24 pairs of LEDs to enhance annunciation capabilities. All models feature status LEDs and an integrated buzzer. Two versions are equipped with a large, backlit LCD screen that displays four lines of twenty super-twist characters each, while another model uses 16 pairs of LEDs for zone indication. R-Series annunciators and expanders are designed for installation on a standard 4-inch square electrical box with the supplied mounting ring, or they can be surface-mounted in secure, locking steel enclosures—three enclosure options are available. Additionally, a keyswitch interface can be used with R-Series annunciators to enable or disable common control functions.
