The Edwards SIGA-IM2 Isolator Module is an addressable device designed to safeguard a signaling line circuit (SLC) from wire-to-wire shorts. This module continuously monitors line voltages and opens the data path to identify a short circuit, effectively isolating the fault between the two modules nearest to the short. The loop controller designates an address for the SIGA-IM module, which occupies a single detector address on the SLC.
