Integrity Speakers and Speaker-Strobes are engineered to deliver high-quality, integrated emergency voice communications, along with alert and alarm tone signals. They are ideal for life safety applications, particularly for alerting individuals with hearing impairments and in locations with transient populations, such as hotels, shopping malls, airports, hospitals, and other public facilities. Each speaker is supplied with a ‘DC Blocking Capacitor’ to enable electrical supervision of the audio distribution circuit. Options for both 25 Vrms and 70 Vrms circuits are available. The mylar speaker features a sealed back construction, enhancing durability and sound clarity. Wattage taps ranging from 1/4W to 2W offer maximum flexibility on-site. Integrity’s robust plastic housing comes in a choice of red or white textured finishes. Its innovative mounting sub-plate secures the unit with a single screw, facilitating a swift and aesthetically pleasing installation without the need for a separate trim plate for flush mounting. The flash from Edwards strobes is easily visible from nearly any angle within a room, corridor, or expansive area. Edwards strobes are UL1971 certified, with intensity ratings for both wall and ceiling installations (refer to Specifications). This feature is particularly beneficial in locations where the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) allows ceiling-mounted strobes.
