The Kidde R-Series Annunciators are advanced remote indicators designed to provide status notifications and shared controls for compatible fire alarm control panels. This range of annunciators features either LCD or LED displays. Various models are offered, some equipped with common controls and others without. There are three distinct R-Series annunciator models, along with an LED-based expander. Each annunciator can accommodate up to two expanders, which include 24 pairs of LEDs to enhance the functionality of any annunciator. All models come with status LEDs and an internal buzzer. Two of the models feature an LCD text display, while one model includes 16 pairs of LEDs for zone indication. The LCD models boast a large backlit super-twist liquid crystal display, measuring four by twenty characters per line. R-Series annunciators and expanders can be installed on a standard 4-inch square electrical box using the provided mounting ring, or they can be surface-mounted within secure steel enclosures, of which three different types are available. Additionally, a keyswitch and graphic annunciator interface are offered for R-Series applications. The keyswitch allows for the activation or deactivation of common controls, while the graphic annunciator interface cards support 32 LEDs and 16 switches on the graphic panel display.
