The KI-IB KIDDE COMMERCIAL Detector Base with Isolator provides essential circuit protection for fire detection systems. Engineered with built-in isolation technology, it automatically disconnects faulty devices to maintain system integrity during short circuits. This commercial-grade base ensures continuous operation of functional detectors even when part of the system is compromised.

This base features an integrated line fault isolator designed for Class A circuits. For it to function, a detector must be installed. Please note that the isolator base is incompatible with the GSA-LED Remote LED. The procedure continues from the opposite side of the loop controller.

• A short on the line causes all iso- lators to open within 23 msec
• At 10 msec intervals, beginning on one side of the Class A circuit nearest the loop controller, the isolators close to provide the next isolator down the line with power
• When the isolator next to the short closes, it reopens within 10 msec.
