Potter PC-2P is a low-profile conventional photoelectric smoke detector designed to provide dependable detection of smoke particles associated with developing fires. Its compact design protrudes less than two inches when mounted, making it suitable for installations where a neat, unobtrusive appearance is desired.

The detector includes LED status indication for normal, alarm, trouble, dirty and sensitivity conditions, along with drift compensation to help maintain reliable performance as environmental conditions change. It operates on 12 or 24VDC conventional systems and includes a magnetic test feature for convenient inspection and maintenance.
