DSC PG9974P is a PowerG wireless passive infrared (PIR) motion detector that uses mirror-optic technology to detect movement within a protected area. It provides a wide 90-degree field of view with coverage up to approximately 15 metres (49 feet), helping security systems detect intrusions while maintaining a discreet indoor installation.

The detector includes a visible link-quality indicator to help installers choose an appropriate mounting location, and configuration is managed through a compatible system keypad. Powered by a 3V CR123A lithium battery, it is designed for long battery life and supervised operation with compatible DSC PowerG systems.
