The SOC-E-IS is a photoelectric smoke detector that is fully compatible with most current conventional systems. It utilizes Hochiki’s specialized high-performance photoelectric smoke chamber, which eliminates the need for ionisation detectors in the majority of use cases.

To maintain peak performance and minimize false alarms, the detector integrates ‘ASWV’ Drift Compensation technology. Should the contamination threshold be reached, a built-in red LED provides a visual alert by flashing every three seconds. Additionally, the smoke chamber can be easily detached or replaced for maintenance and features a specialized baffle design that admits smoke while blocking out external light.
